What is
in-house training?

In-house training is a training measure that is carried out internally for the employees of a company. It can take place on site or digitally as online training.

In-house training is an established personnel development tool and is used in particular when several employees or entire departments have the same training needs.

In-house training courses have the advantage that the content can be tailored precisely to the needs of your company, e.g. your internal processes. FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are the advantages of in-house training compared to external training courses?

Adaptation to company needs

In-house training allows you to tailor training content precisely to the needs of your company. This allows us to respond to your specific challenges and objectives.

Cost savings and resource conservation

Compared to external training, in-house training can be more cost-effective. Not only do you save on travel and accommodation costs, but you also save the time that employees would need to attend external training courses. By conducting training in-house, you can use resources more effectively while offering training on a larger scale.

Flexible planning

You have the option of determining the time of your in-house training yourself. This gives you the freedom to plan the in-house training in such a way that it can be seamlessly integrated into work processes. If you choose times when the workload is lower, employees can complete their tasks despite the training and make effective use of the training.

Practical and directly implementable

In-house training are tailored precisely to your company. This means that your employees learn directly on the job. These courses are designed to meet the specific objectives of your company and help your employees to perform their tasks more effectively.

Promotion of team spirit

In-house training is a great opportunity for team building and sharing best practices. By learning together, employees can work more closely together, share their knowledge and learn from each other. This promotes team spirit and a learning culture in your company.

Effect on employer branding

Further training is not only important for the personal development of employees, but also plays a decisive role in employer branding. If you invest in the further training of your employees with targeted in-house training, this not only signals appreciation for their professional development, but also strengthens your own employer brand. In times of skills shortages, this is a decisive factor in attracting talented specialists and retaining existing employees at your company. By making the right investment in training, you can empower your employees to continuously develop their skills and thus ensure the transformation and future viability of your company.

Prices: What does an in-house training course cost?

The prices of an in-house training course vary depending on the subject area and the degree of customization. If a special adaptation or conception of the content is required, this can influence the costs. Ultimately, this results in a daily rate for the training.

We calculate the cost of your in-house training course on the basis of a daily rate, which generally applies to a maximum of 12 attendees . An additional fee of EUR 150 per day is payable for each participant of 12 or more. Whether more than 12 attendees are possible must be agreed in advance.

When you purchase an Academy Card, you benefit from a 3% discount on the daily or hourly rate for selected in-house seminars and consulting services.

Do in-house training courses take place as face-to-face events or live online training?

What does in-house mean and what is the opposite of in-house training?

In-house means that the training takes place directly in the company - i.e. not externally in a seminar center or at a training provider. Characteristics of in-house training:

  • The training takes place on the company's premises. Alternatively, it can also be held online exclusively for the company.
  • Only employees of the company take part. It is therefore not an open training course where people from different companies can register.
  • The content is usually customized and adapted to the needs, processes or goals of the company.
  • The date and procedure can be arranged individually.

In-house training is an in-house, customized training course that is held exclusively for a company's employees - on site or online.

The counterpart to in-house training is off-site training or external training. With In-house training , the training takes place directly in the company or at a location of your choice. In contrast, offsite training takes place outside the company, for example in a training center or with an external provider.
